You’re invited to join OneHE! In the 2025-2026 academic year, the CSU has partner provided each campus with a limited number of licenses to access the resources at OneHE, a pedagogy-focused professional development platform for higher education faculty. The platform works with faculty experts to provide resources on practical, engaging teaching practices that are easy to implement in your online or in-person courses.
CI still has licences available, so if you’re interested in checking out what OneHE has to offer, just complete the interest form, and TLi will send you a link to register. If you’d like to learn more, here are a few of my favorite features of OneHE:
My OneHE Highlights
Bite-sized resources and practical strategies
OneHE provides content in a few formats, including short courses, webinars, resources, and badged course sequences for exploring themes or topics in more depth. The platform is designed for learning in short bursts. If you have twenty minutes to spare, you can engage with a short course and walk away with a practical strategy or two that could be implemented right away. However, if you want to engage in more sustained study, learning pathways and badges provide opportunities for more comprehensive and ongoing learning. Our CI hub currently has curated learning pathways for Student Engagement, Teaching Excellence, and Fostering Belonging and Community, and you also have full access to all of the content in the platform.
Research-based practices
Although OneHE prioritizes presenting big ideas and actionable practices in easy-to-grasp ways, the content is grounded in current research. Short courses provide links and resources for those who want a deeper dive into the source material, and many of the courses on current pedagogy theories and practices are taught by the teachers and scholars who developed them.
Variety of topics
OneHE includes content on a range of teaching and learning topics, from assessment practices to course design to self-care. An overview of available topics is below. You can browse course offerings in more detail at this link.

Content on student and faculty well-being
One thing I particularly appreciate about OneHE’s content is its emphasis on the human and relational elements of teaching. As the content overview indicates, the platform not only offers concrete strategies for assessment and course design but also supports faculty in finding ways to make their classrooms more inclusive, create community both online and in person, improve student motivation and study skills, and boost student engagement. In addition, OneHE has added content on faculty well-being and strategies for preventing burnout.
Community
When you register for OneHE through CI’s registration link, you’ll have access to our own CI OneHE hub, where you’ll find curated learning pathways and a discussion board just for our CI community. On the optional discussion board, you can share resources you found especially useful, request content recommendations, and discuss how you’re applying specific practices in your classroom and academic discipline.
While the pathways in our hub offer a starting point for those who want one, you’re equally welcome to jump right into the full library of courses and resources and search for the content that looks most relevant to your interests. If you’d like to engage with the OneHE community more broadly, you can also exchange ideas with faculty at other institutions through discussion on existing resources and in OneHE’s live webinars.
Active space with new content added weekly
New content is added frequently on OneHE, and regular webinar offerings engage with current issues in higher education. For instance, two upcoming webinars include Authentic Assessment in the GenAI Age (Feb 25) and Title II Accessibility: Be Ready for the April Deadline (March 10)
