Please pass along to strong student candidates and to your networks this announcement of the many paid peer mentor positions available under the Peer Equity and Education Programs (PEEPs) for Academic Year 2016-2017, which include the general-fund supported University Experience Program (mentors embedded in first year UNIV seminars/learning communities with English composition), as well as continuing and new positions under various Hispanic-Serving Institution grants including mentors in research first year living learning communities, second year and transfer year UNIV seminars, and outreach roles with community colleges and high schools. These positions are proving to be high-impact jobs with professional and experiential aspects that complement students’ academic preparation at CI.
