Participating in the CI VoiceThreader Community is a great way to improve how you are using VoiceThread in your class by learning from your peers. The community is supported with a monthly gathering that may be attended face-to-face in the FIT Studio or online via Zoom. Faculty share sessions are archived (when possible) and posted to the Faculty Share Showcase.
How to get involved:
- Attend a gathering to listen and absorb new ideas, ask your peers for feedback about an idea you have for VoiceThread, share an example of how you are using VoiceThread in your class (sharing sessions are works in progress, intended to be a way to open a conversation and learn together).
- Gatherings are held in Zoom. This means you may participate from anywhere — your office, your home, or on the sideline at your child’s soccer practice (just bring your smartphone and Zoom takes care of the rest)
- Gatherings are open to all CI faculty — VoiceThread experience is not necessary.
