What is Untethering?

Teaching & Learning Innovations has taken a non-traditional approach to how we facilitate and communicate faculty development. We are untethering our faculty workshops from a closed-off physical space and infusing them with principles of openness and connected learning. Untethering ensures time and place are not barriers to faculty who want to improve their teaching. Untethering immerses faculty in the use digital tools, encouraging them to understand how technology can transform age-old traditions. Perhaps most importantly, more faculty are engaging and connecting with more peers across campus and beyond.

The results of untethered workshops can be found in our  Workshop Resources blog posts from past workshops and events.
