2017 Faculty Fellow
I have been an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Martin V. Smith School of Business and Economics at CSUCI since 2014. The interdisciplinary nature of the PhD degree I attained in Business with a Marketing specialization, from Bentley University opened my eyes to the endless ways of learning and teaching as a life-long endeavor. While topics I teach span a wide range within the Marketing and Management disciplines, the learning objectives I aim to accomplish in my courses are based on ‘Problem solving through analytical and critical thinking and logical argumentation’. I am thrilled to be a T&LI Faculty Fellow. In this capacity I will be exploring how gamification and game-based learning impacts learning amongst the CI student body and whether it can be adapted to increase access and quality of learning in our technologically connected age.
